If you’d rather do anything other than exercise during your free time, here’s some good news…
… you can get your activity level up WITHOUT working out!
This matters because it’s absolutely CRITICAL for your health that you MOVE your body every day.
Being active helps fight diabetes, age-related muscle and bone loss, heart disease, some types of cancer, obesity, and a long list of other ailments…
While at the same time boosting your mood, improving your sleep, and fighting stress.
Even with all those amazing benefits, 36% percent (more than a third!!!!) of adults do not engage in ANY leisure time physical activity.
(I don’t make the rules. But I am sharing this because YOU DESERVE to feel great.)
Here are some things you can do to be more active, starting TODAY:
● Hike on the weekends with friends
● Play pickleball at a local community center
● Put on some music and dance while cleaning the house
● Walk to a local coffee shop to grab a coffee instead of driving
● Do your own landscaping and gardening to stay active and outdoors
You can be as creative as you want!
So, here’s my invitation for you…
This week, explore at least one physical activity that doesn’t feel like exercise.
Bonus points if you can get outdoors to do it!
I know it’s not easy to get started…
But you deserve it — and I have a feeling that once you get started, you’ll wonder why you waited so long.
